Doctors resorting to finding new residencies with Locum Tenens Healthcare

These days, the fresh crop of medical doctors’ toil in less working hours with the laws implemented last year, very much unlike their predecessors. But this creates tons of difficulties. Tons of today’s medical students along with veteran physicians find themselves fraught with unreasonable workload while hospitals are facing high expenses as a result of trying to fix task schedules.

Plenty of apprehensions came after the influx of concerns on doctors’ excessive work hours that can even put patients wellbeing at risk. To this point, plenty of the residents have filed complaints to counter work hour offenses, but eleven cases were discharged due to lack of sufficient proof. The authority figures in the American medical student association states that due to the apprehension among resident doctors that their accreditation program will be put at risk, they repudiate making any reports.

More work is done by medical students especially those who feel that they are not ready, states the association. The president of the association of medical students reveals that it has become very apparent that major troubles have arisen in the staffing system of most institutions due to the alteration of work hours. Due to the uncontrollable expenses incurred by many resident programs in hiring more nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, they encounter problems and have to complain about the current resident system. Others were able to amend the working schedules a little to come up with a night float rotation that constitutes physician teams covering in for early morning doctors by coming in to work late at night to relieve the others.
